💙 Meet Mr. Harvey. 💙
Sometimes, a dog’s story begins with one good Samaritan simply refusing to look the other way. Harvey was found by a kind person who took him in, got him to the vet, and reached out for help. Now, this sweet senior boy is looking for his next safe place to land.
At around 10 years old, Harvey came to us very emaciated and is now on a slow, careful feeding schedule as he works toward getting stronger. He also has burned toe pads that will need time and care to heal. But despite everything his little body has been through, Harvey remains a sweet, gentle boy who has already shown us that he does wonderfully with other dogs. 🥹
And Harvey is part of something even bigger. In just 100 days, 5,600 Dream Builders giving $250 at a time will help open the doors to Homestead East—our first expansion campus. A place where thousands more animals like Harvey can have somewhere to land, heal, and be loved.
But Harvey needs help right now. ❤️
What he needs most is a foster—a quiet place, a soft bed, good food, patience, and someone willing to show an older dog that being found on the street doesn’t have to be the end of his story.
