We already introduced you to Gemma.

Now it's time to meet her Fantastic Beasts litter.

All ELEVEN of them.

💙 Ten little boys
💗 One little girl

Eleven brand-new lives who entered the world yesterday after Gemma required an emergency C-section when it became clear she wasn't going to be able to deliver them on her own.

And just look at them.

Eleven tiny reasons why we keep dreaming about what rescue can be.

Not long ago, Gemma was a young pregnant dog sitting on a euthanasia list.

Yesterday, she became a mama.

Safe.

Loved.

Protected.

And proving to be the sweetest mom to eleven beautiful babies.

Right beside her through it all is her incredible foster, Sara.

For the next several weeks, Sara's world will revolve around this little family.

Feedings.

Cleaning.

Daily weigh-ins.

Making sure every puppy is nursing and growing.

Bottle supplements if eleven hungry mouths become more than Gemma can manage on her own.

And probably...

A whole lot of lost sleep.

This is Rescue Reimagined.

It's saying yes to the mama someone else was ready to give up on.

And in doing so, saying yes to every tiny life she was carrying.

Because when you save Gemma...

You save her babies, too.

And the best part?

Gemma's story doesn't end here.

She has now been spayed, which means once her puppies are weaned and begin searching for their furever homes...

Gemma gets a new beginning, too.

She gets to be young.

She gets to play.

She gets to nap on the couch.

She gets to be someone's baby instead of taking care of eleven of her own.

And these eleven puppies?

They get to grow up knowing nothing but:

❤️ Gentle hands
❤️ Safety
❤️ Love

Twelve lives saved at once.
